Could your New Year’s resolution change communities?
It’s the time for making New Year’s resolutions, so why not make your resolution one that can change communities? Our Area Panel is looking for new people to join and help us to find new areas that need a bit of TLC and investment.
By joining the Area Panel you will make a real and very visible improvement in our neighbourhoods, like better landscaping, improved lighting and helping residents to feel more secure. The feedback you get from local residents will help you to make sure the projects you select will have the most impact on the communities and the people who live in them.
The Panel has a large annual budget to spend on the projects, and by joining you will get a great feeling of satisfaction from seeing the work you do come to life, with real improvements to communities.
There are lots of other ways to get involved with CKH and have your say on our business. To find out more and to discover which of our paths to involvement is the right one for you, please call 01733 396404 or email@example.com.
Don’t struggle alone this Christmas
Christmas can often be a difficult time of the year. The weather is miserable and daylight hours are short.
Plus the stress of preparing for Christmas can all take a toll on our mental health. Fortunately, help is at hand - our counselling service with Insight Healthcare. You can access support faster than through your GP, and get the help you need at our Health and Wellbeing Hub in Welland. The team can help you address conditions such as depression, stress, anxiety and addiction. So, give us a call today to find out how you can refer yourself for support – no need to go through your GP.
You can also get great support from others in your community through our Umbrella Support Group. If you or someone you know is affected by mental health issues, come along, and chat with people just like you. You’ll find sources of support, all in a safe and friendly place. The group meets on the third Friday of every month at Dogsthorpe Community Centre.
For more information on all the support available call 01733 396404 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
